Formerly the QSW Culture Center, the Bandai Namco Shanghai Base is a huge live music venue with one of the best sound systems in Shanghai. It contains two separate venues. Dream Hall is the larger, and has room for 1000 people on two levels, or 700 people at a seated show. Then there's a smaller venue called Future House, which fits about 500 standing or 300 seated. They have pop and rock concerts here, often by touring bands from other countries, and it's also used for traditional Chinese music, opera, and stage shows. Modern, well-laid-out and first-rate sound quality.
