Impressive craft cocktail bar in Ferguson Lane, by Daniel An, the trophy-winning bartender from Starling, and formerly of The Alchemist, and The 1515 West. Place is Qing Dynasty / Forbidden Palace meets early 20th-Century Euro vibes, with strong purples, yellows, birdcages, and giant sofas. Sounds tacky, but they pull it off. But you're really coming here for the drinks, which are some of the best in town. Go for the Tale of Mulata, Up In The Air, or the Persian Julab. Do not make the mistake of ordering a beer. Expect to pay at least 80rmb for drinks, and they do have one for 888rmb. More of a chill and have cocktails place, not a party spot. They've got two patios as well, one overlooking the street and another peering over the quiet garden next door.
