The more affordable (by Bund standards) sister venue to Alvin Leung's Bo Shanghai, Daimon Gastrolounge (nee 'Bistro') is a trippy loungebar and restaurant that looks like it was ripped from an 80's Hong Kong noir. Fun interior. The menu's sort of an upscale take on Cantonese street food, with the likes of skewers and dim sum, and the cocktails hit a few familiar cultural touchstones. One comes served in a Vitasoy bottle. Out-of-towners with a romantic view of Hong Kong'll love it.
