The Dolphins were established in 2015 by a group of friends looking to enjoy the lighter side of rugby. They provide rugby lovers of all ages and abilities somewhere to play, meet fellow enthusiasts and (obviously) drink. They currently have a men's contact team and a mixed Touch Rugby team. They play games against both local teams and other clubs around Asia during their various tours throughout the year to Hong Kong, Cebu, Bangkok, Xiamen and Beijing, among others. As a club, they take their off-field duties rather more seriously than those inside the whitewash, so if you’re a seasoned veteran, a traveling student or have never chased an egg in your life, come down for a run around, a beer, and join the pod. Wednesday evenings train on Childler’s Field, at 1 Washan Lu (near Yili Rd Metro), Tuesday evening at F45, alternating between Xuhui and Jing’an. Sunday morning touch games happen at the Sino-British College at Fuxing Zhong Lu, near Shaanxi Nan Lu.
