The Anzacs are stalwarts of the SIFL, celebrating their fifteenth season in the league. Despite the name, they are made up of different nationalities. The only pre-requisites for joining are enjoying football, enjoying their beer, and baiting the Shanghai Shooters whenever possible. They play in the SIFL first division and consistently strive for their dream result, which would be third on goal difference, so having the best possible results across the season, but not actually being promoted to the far-too-difficult, fast, and serious Premier League. They are also regular football tourists, making the annual pilgrimage to Thailand to take part in the Bangkok Masters Tournament. They're sponsored by the Shed on Shaanxi Bei Lu. They are always on the lookout for new players. If you want to check it out, best option is to come to Thursday night trainings at 8.30pm at Jing’An Stadium.
