Popot is a street-side cafe doing French fine-dining recipes in eco-friendly, sustainable glass jars. Most of them stick close to their French origins, like the "Beef Bourguignon" but a few have Southeast Asian influences as well, such as their "Carrots, Coriander, Citrus." All of the dishes are fresh and designed to be eaten directly out of the jar. It's pretty affordable too: prices go from the 40rmb range to about 80rmb. They are big on sustainability; their delivery jars are recyclable, and you can save 2rmb off your cost if you bring back a used Popot jar. There have two venues, one in Xuhui and another in Jing'an.
