A low-key, hidden music cave on Tai'an Lu, Tǎng is true to its name (躺) - it's a place to lay down, literally. Napping is acceptable here. Most of the seating is on the floor and there's some recliner chairs. The vibe is a bit mystic and without a sense of time – somewhere between Chiang Mai and back-in-the-days Dali. Later in the week and on weekends, DJs come through to play sets of laid-back minimal, house, ambient, and more from a DJ booth that is also on the floor. Can be busy on weekends and despite the chill vibe, folks often get quite lit here. This place is from the same team as Roam and the Shuangda festival. It's a good place to start a night or just have a chill one.
