Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, the most successful music drama of 2018, has a Chinese release date: March 22. Despite the controversy behind the scenes, the film won numerous awards, including four Oscars. It also won Rami Malek three Best Actor awards at Oscar, BAFTA, and the Golden Globes. Given Mercury's sexual fluidity, the film shown in China is reported to be a few minutes shorter than the original runtime. Captain Marvel (March 8) has just launched pre-sales for premieres at a few selected cinemas. Get the tickets for your girlfriends to see the most powerful superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Currently showing at cinemas: the final chapter of How to Train Your Dragon; the heart-warming Green Book (also censored); cyberpunk dystopia/utopia mash-up Alita: Battle Angel; and English-subbed The Wandering Earth, China's first-ever sci-fi blockbuster.
