The 24-year-old Disney Inspiration Run is coming to China for the first time. Partnered with Shanghai International Marathon and consisting of three different running routes, the event will take place at the Shanghai Disney Resort on September 15 and 16. Here's how to get involved.

Running enthusiasts have 3.5K, 5K and 10K to choose from. All running routes will be hosted inside the Shanghai Disney Resort and end at the Wishing Star Park/ Lake. Both the 5K and 10K marathons cover all the attractions in Disneyland. Characters from Toy Story, Zootopia, and the Incredibles, etc will be cheering for the runners along the routes. And of course, runners are encouraged to dress up as Disney characters as well. Winners of each running routes will be given medals feature Mickey Mouse, Donald, and Pluto, and the first 50 runners (male and female) who finish the 5K and 10K routes will have direct access to participate in this year's Shanghai International Marathon as well. Participants who cross the finish line will also be rewarded a race medal. Registration for Disney Inspiration Run kicks off on Monday July 2, at 10am, via run.shanghaidisneyresort.com. The registration fee is 279rmb (3K) and 349rmb (5K, 10K), which include race packets. They only have a couple of thousand spots available, and pretty much anything with a Disney brand attached sells like hot cakes in Shanghai. So set a reminder, maybe?
