Local live music promotions banner Spectacles of Sound has a really good little show planned for March 10. It's Spectacles of Sound: Festivus -- "a micro-music festival for the rest of us." Hmmm. Seinfeld reference in 2017? In China?

*** Sure why not. That shit's timeless, borderless. For one night only on the aforementioned date at On Stage they've lined up jazzy hip hop beats maker Shigeto of Ghostly International, Canadian art rock band Braids, South African singer/songwriter Nonku Phiri, and Shanghai-based deep beats composer Faded Ghost (vocalist/songwriter ChaCha's other nomme de guerre.) Pretty great line-up. Really diverse set of artists and writers creating... a spectacle of sound, as it were. SmartShanghai is pleased to be a part of this cool show as the exclusive tickets partner and we will also be trying out our new e-ticketing service. E-tickets! So future, right? So 2017. Rest assured, you'll hear a lot more about it after the holidays. For now just repeat this silently in your head three times: "Cool show at On Stage on March 10. Spectacles of Sound. Shigeto, Braids, Nonku Phiri, and Faded Ghost are playing. I should go to this. I like doing rad things."
