Hey, a quick note: if you were thinking of finally going back to school
to fix your crappy Chinese, deadlines for the spring semester at several universities come up
this week. At
East China Normal University, which consistently gets high marks, the deadline for admissions is this Friday (January 10). Same date for the business Chinese program at
SUFE.
Tongji goes a little later, giving you until January 15.
Jiaotong, which is very popular, ended admissions three weeks ago, and
SISU, also very popular, officially ended admissions on December 31, though they have been known to grant late admissions if you show up in person and are real nice (and they have space). Of course, those are not the only options. There are also private language schools, which have more flexibility.
See those here, and happy tone-surfing!
