Couple of big ticketing updates for you; British crooner Sam Smith, perhaps best known for Stay With Me (VPN) is going to most likely pack out Mercedes-Benz Arena in October, supporting his new album The Thrill Of It All. One night only, despite his assertions that he's not good at one night stands. Before that, though, Linkin' Park's Mike Shinoda is bringing his first album since the passing of Chester Bennington to Shanghai. It's called Post Traumatic. Tickets available after the jump.

*** Acclaimed British vocalist Sam Smith is performing in China for the very first time at Shanghai's Mercedes-Benz Arena! Sam Smith, originally from London, has a walk-in closet of accolades to his name. Since bursting onto the world stage in 2012 after being featured on "Latch" by Disclosure, he's racked up an Academy Award for his Bond theme "Writing's on the Wall," Billboard, Brit, Critics Choice, Golden Globe, JUNO, MTV and Teen Choice awards. Acclaimed indeed. He's even got a Guinness World Record for spending sixty-nine consecutive weeks in the British Official Albums Chart Top 10. Last year, he released only his second full studio album, "The Thrill Of It All," which has hit the top spot in the UK and the US, and that's what he's in China performing. Bound to be a massive turn-out. Tickets available here. Mike Shinoda, best known as the co-lead for no less a band than Linkin Park, is performing solo in China for the first time, in support of his new album. Called "Post Traumatic," it emerged from the months Mike spent coping with the passing of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. Hunkered down in his LA home, he began writing, recording and painting, before releasing an EP at the start of this year, consisting of three anguished, powerful, stream-of-consciousness tracks. Following its critical acclaim, Shinoda expanded it into a full album that's both transparent and deeply, intensely personal. Despite the title, Shinoda says "it's a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness." It's the first album released under his own name.Tickets available here.
