It took a few weeks to confirm, but we can now report that pop star Ariana Grande will be making her Shanghai debut in the midst of a few China dates, bringing her "Dangerous Woman" world tour to this city on August 28 at the Mercedes Benz Arena
. The Nickelodeon-turned-every thing else pop star was recently the focus of the world's attention for a tragic terrorist attack on her Manchester concert which left 23 dead. Grande took time out from her ongoing tour to host an emotional benefit concert
in June in the UK city to support the victims of the terrible event. One Love Manchester also saw performances by Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, among others, and was aired in more than 50 counties. Grande subsequently resumed her tour and is scheduled for a Shanghai performance on August 28. Tickets will be available on SmartTicket next Friday.
