Really spoiled for choice this weekend, Shanghai, really spoiled. There's a wealth of music in the next few days, and something for everyone. For the punks, Milo comes to China on Saturday night. For the Shanghai old-timers, the Cotton Club that used to be on Fuxing Lu, a blues institution in its day, regroups at The Pearl for one night only. Over at the Sleep No More HQ, they're doing some different with Youtube sensation Cristina Gatti, after her show last week proved to be extremely popular and needed to be reprised. For the longhairs, there's Volume 1 of Full Metal Fest. And then — and then! The big news this weekend are the festivals: JZ Spring kicks off on Saturday and runs until May 1; Strawberry starts on Friday and runs over the weekend. For JZ, most of the indoors concerts have already sold out, but the outdoors shindig in the park (May 1) will still be open. For Strawberry, headliners include Hebe Tien, Tizzy T & Young Jack, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Omnipotent Youth Society. For details, click the links!
