Hidden inside an old apartment building on Shaanxi South Road, Old Park feels less like a shop and more like a small museum you can actually buy things from.
Alongside vintage jewelry, there are Republic-era magazines, old books and pictorials, historic Shanghai maps, and all kinds of ephemera that offer a glimpse into the city's past. The music, decor, and carefully packed shelves make it easy to lose track of time.
In a vintage scene that's increasingly full of the same things, Old Park has held onto its own character. Part vintage store, part bookstore, part time capsule, it's the kind of place people end up browsing much longer than they planned.
