The first concert of the 2011 Chamber Concerts series at the Oriental Arts Center is a jazz show by an Italian/Cuban jazz trio, The Giovanni Mirabassi Jazz Trio. Giovanni Mirabassi is a Paris-based Italian jazz pianist, and have previously shared the stage with Chet Baker and Steve Grossman, among other. His melodious style of jazz piano is featured on his 2008 release, Terra furiosa with Gianluca Renzi on bass and Leon Parker on drums. Pre-sale tickets available here.
