The Royal Asiatic Society is hosting a discussion by celebrated author Tim Luard on his recently published book, Escape from Hong Kong: Admiral Chan Chak's Christmas Day Dash, 1941. Luard will give an illustrated talk on the thrilling exploits of one-legged Admiral Chan Chak and his escape from Hong Kong through Japanese lines on Christmas Day of 1941.
