Shanghai,
Pride returns for its fourth Shanghai "outing". Boom! See that? There will be picnics, parties, talks, photo exhibitions and screenings going on all week at venues around the city. These are some of the highlights we know about so far:
Sat 16 The pink picnic, 11am-2pm. In past years, this is one of ShanghaiPRIDE's most popular events. Everyone's welcome, but wear pink to show your support.
Sat 16 The opening party, 9pm-late. Dress up and go mental with a load of queers, fags, queens, norms, bi's, straighties, punks and trannies. 50rmb to get in.
Sun 17 Swimming competition. Not sure how gay this is. Doesn't sound very gay. Different competitions for 100m, 200m, 400m etc. and different strokes. I hear gay women are better at the breaststroke. B-dum, tss. Take part if you like or just come and watch. Sign up on the day or through the Pride site.
Wed 20 Pink Pub Quiz at Masse, 9-11pm. Questions will be LGBT-themed. Very sexy. Nice one. Drink deals. All that.
Thu 21 Mid-week party, 10pm. Dress up and go mental again with a load of queers, fags, queens, norms, bi's, straighties, punks and trannies. Free.
Fri 22 Pool party, 10am-2pm. Pretty self-explanatory. Free
Sat 23 Closing party, 9pm. Dress up and go mental again with ... you get the picture. 50rmb.
