Tonight, Beijing glam-punk band The Bedstars release their highly anticipated debut album, Wet Hearts & Dry Vomit. Expect wet stages and amps, broken hearts and guitars, and classic punk rock tunes a la The Stooges and Johnny Thunders. They say:

"BEDSTARS is a rock'n'roll band formed over four years ago in Beijing, consisting of vocalist Zhao Kai, salesman of "personal hygienic products"; bassist Wang Chao, professional shopping mall manager; drummer Li Fan, professional guitar dealer; and guitarist Wang Xuan, professional acolyte of traditional Chinese script. Their music carries on the classic punk rock tradition, finding simple and delicate truths within the rough grit of urban life, wide open and without inhibition. As for their live shows, it's been said: 'Sometimes they're like the breath of a furious dragon, sometimes like mud thrown at a wall.....'"
