Fancy French Le Platane, just over the Xintiandi border in a lovely villa next to the lake, is opening up their Sunday mornings to a Champagne brunch. Their first-floor, the one that houses the more relaxed brasserie-style side of things, is the scene of a 398rmb deal that comes with all sorts of fanciful canapes, breads, crepes, waffles, brioche, classic egg dishes, a choice of weekly-rotating main dishes, and then a host of desserts.
