The fourth annual Chili Cook-Off takes place a little later this year -- on Halloween. Dubbed the Witch's Brew Festival, it's six hours of tasting chili, drinking beers, listening to the rock music, and generally indulging in the temporary Little America Bubba's creates in a narrow Hongqiao alleyway, next to the Marriott. Noon to six pm. 100rmb entrance includes all the chili samples you can handle. Final judging, however, is done by "professionals".
