Easily one of the most famous cocktail bars in China, this busy Japanese-style speakeasy is hidden behind a secret door in a bartending equipment shop on Fuxing Lu. Getting a seat on the weekend will be difficult without a reservation - it is very busy, and can feel crowded. The place spans four floors, each with its own concept. The lively second floor recalls a house party and they serve classic cocktails like Corpse Reviver No.2 and Negroni Sbagliato as well as some creative originals, like a cocktail made with Wang Lao Ji tea. Prices here start in the mid '80s. The third floor is a quieter, even more intimate affair serving super premium original drinks that start north of 100rmb. As you can guess, the fourth floor is even pricier. If you're hungry, they also have food like pizza and fried chicken. The place has appeared on both The World’s 50 Best Bars and Asia’s 50 Best Bars - expect lines.
