This is the Sukhothai's second location after Bangkok. It's a "contemporary design hotel" directly connected to the HKRI Taikoo Hui mall. They boast some of the largest rooms in Shanghai, featuring their own mini wine cellars (basically extra wine in the minibar). The rooms look like a Swedish interior designer's wet dream, likely because they were designed by well-known Shanghai architects and designers Neri & Hu, using mostly natural materials. It's got 5 dining venues, notably La Scala, an Italian restaurant from Michelin-starred Theodor Falser.
