Went recently to try the new menu, have been a favourite place for some time. the menu I found was not to the same standard as before. The price also seems to have increased considerably, or at least it felt so. The service is as always very attentive. Still recommend this place but only if you are prepared to spend 300 plus.

I've been to Indalo with friends, on dates, by myself... and every time has been fantastic... All my friends love it, my dates go dreamy and I always eat too much! The tapas, the paellas, the parillada, all cooked to perfection and, although a bit pricey, not crazy expensive like some other places I could mention... And now there's a new menu with new selection of tapas and wines and the food seems to have taken a lighter tone for the summer heat... no heavy sauces! I really recommend this place if you want some authentic Spanish cuisine and cheap wines... Ole!!

Indalo is by far my favorite restaurant in town. A very complete food menu and soooooooo cheap wine list: 3 people including 6 tapas, one paella and one bottle of wine: 500 RMB. I couldn t move from the table coz I ate too much. Where else can you find it?

nice place, great staff. the tapas were overpriced for the small portions (and 35rmb for a basked of bread?) but of great quality and very tasty. But, the paella... This stuff they call 'paella', i would rather call 'salty-rice-mush'. This must have been the worst paella I've ever had. I've had better tv-dinner paella's from the local supermarket. We ordered 2 paella's (seafood and chicken/sausage) and both of them tasted pretty much the same (salty, VERY salty). 2 quite large pans with a layer of rice-mush with a couple of shrimp (and was that a mussle??) and a few pieces of chicken with some sausage in the other one. at 150rmb for a pan of salty-rice-mush... totally forgetabble.

Went to Indalo on the weekend and have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very attentive (if anything we felt \'over-served\') and knowledgable while the food / wine was varied and delicious. We ate off the tapas menu and loved the squid in ink stuffed with pork, chilli and garlic shrimp and stuffed mushrooms. In fact everything (including a nice little pinot noir from Australia) was fantastic. Would recommend for anyone looking for a communal dinner (and a few drinks) with friends or a quiet dinner for two.
