This place is GREAT. The food is really authentic German/Danish food and will leave you full for a day. Be warned- the portions are huge and unless you eat like a German you will be unable to finish. Out of the appetizers I recommend the cold cuts/ smoked fish plate. The schnitzel is better than the cordon bleu in my experience although both are good, really everything on the menu (sausages, meatloaf, steak etc.) is excellent and Dan's deserves multiple visits. There is also happy hour on weekday nights and if you ask the waitresses they will give free pickles to eat with your beer.

What a crappy place......
Went there this weekend looking for some good bread, sausages and good German home food.
What we ordered: Cordon bleu, sausage/pork platter.
Horrible.
Cordon bleu had no taste whatsoever. It was semi-cold and COMPLETELY TASTELESS. Fries were old.
Sausage platter was as bad. One sausage was OK, the other had a taste of a mint candy. The pork piece was huge and tasteless. The red-beet was old and chewy. The potatoes were out of a horror movie.
The waitress kept rearranging my plate and glasses.
Oh the best part was the bill. I got charged 20yen for bread. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm ok with that in some cheapo Chinese restaurant where they charge me for nappinks but this place is supposed to be a bit better.
I could only laugh when we went out. My wife which hates German food anyway was beyond pissed. I get her to go occasionally to a German restaurant and then I get to this place.......
Summary: BEYOND BAD!
