I go there often. It is a pity that the sandwitches are too small for the price 45-50RMB and that numerous items are missing in the card. the italian guy (owner?) is friendly. They have a delicious chocolate Tartuffo 35 rmb.

I tried the food delivery, as i my office is close to their restaurant and in jingan, as they write on there delivery menu. Before i could them, what i need, he asked for the address. After telling him the location, 10 min away by bicylce, he only said. We dont deliver, its too far. Even not knowing this place, he refused the order with a very impolite mood. I do not recommend the delivery ...

Just been to Il Panino... Man, was that a tasty sandwich... The REAL Thing!! But MAN... for 40 kuai I would've expected to get more than four bites! It was so small that's all it took me to finish it... No doubt I'll be back when I go on my summmer diet! :-)

Il Panino has good sandwiches but horrible service and the staff have really bad attitude. Called for delivery as they said they would on the flyer but the guy who answered the phone said that they are too busy to deliver (it was 1.30 in the afternoon). If they can't deliever duing lunch time then when do they deliever???

I also just went to Panino the sandwich was delicious but is it just me or the sandwiches are just really small? It was the fastest lunch i ever had, great place if your on a diet :) But it was good!

Walked in excited to try an authentic Italian sandwich. There were only a handful of customers yet the place had more cigarette smoke in the air than a dive bar. I noticed that it was the staff behind the counter who were busy smoking (seeing restaurant staff smoking next to the place were they make the sandwiches makes ill). I'm surprised that they weren't wiping down the numerous dirty tables but I guess they were busy. My sandwich was absolutely delicious yet it was the size of mini-sandwich, a bite-sized sandwich. I ordered this sandwich especially cause it had arugula (love the arugula) but the sandwich came without arugula? "Arugula today finished." Thanks for the update guy - next time let me know before I order. Great salad too but it came without the pears that were meant to be in it. Oh well. Que Sera Sera: Il Panino.
