This, I assure you, was the worst culinary experience in my life. I can't say that the Blue Chair's dessert crepes are bad, since I will never partake in anything from the restaurant again, but as for the savory variety ( at 85RMB a pop) I strongly suggest a pass. When I partook of the gruyere cheese and egg crepe with mushroom, tomato and sausage, I could never imagine the messy soup which was presented. What I received in the guise of luxury food was a raw hot dog swimming in a sea of uncooked egg (possibly mixed with cheese but who could tell). It only took one bite for this nightmare of a meal to make it's mark and while gagging and downing as much water as possible to wash the slimy taste from my palate I pushed the plate as far from site as possible to avoid throwing up. If for some reason you're interested in an overpriced, street style, breakfast crepe full crap than enjoy! But if you're like me and don't crave parasitic infections or salmonella poisoning I suggest you avoid the Blue Chair at all cost.

Good creperie with nice and friendly staff. Maybe not very cheap 50 to 60 rmb for a crepe but well filled with many variations of egg, salad, tuna, and other fresh vegetables. You have even cheese, shrimp, advocado crepes which are a bit pricy but delicious. Desert Crepes are also excellent with whipped cream. The ice on the top is more of the water ice unfortunately but the chocolate taste real and the plain almonds are delicious. The fit out is nice in a "fusion" style with a combination of furniture show room and accessories. Not French style at all which is not shocking in a way. A high ceiling and a big wall screen with vintage movie gives a cafe ambiance. Think of a budget of 150 to 200 RMB/pp for a good meal. Again I regret that crepes which are normally cheap food are considered as a luxury again in this country. Fortunately Blue Chair succeeds to make it pleasant and a nice smile from the staff and the PR person is sometimes already worth coming back.
