Briccocafe's branch off Huaihai Lu is a super clean, two floor venue with Italian foods - pizzas, deli meats, parm - and a cafe selling an array of imported Italian goods, from olive oils to wines. Slightly corporate feel, reasonably priced Italo standards, central-but-out-of-the-way location.

Had the pizza fattoria delivered to my house tonight (I live in Xujiahui) it took about 45 minutes, and it was still more than warm when it arrived.
Its not perfect but its pretty damn good. the thin crust was good(I'm very picky and in my opinion the crust wasn't crispy enough but i'm splitting hairs here, i really did enjoy it), and the cheese was good quality as were the other ingredients. I loved the cherry tomatoes, very juicy.
I will definitely order from them again!

Its hard to find great lunch deals where you can get 32rmb pizza (prob 9inch), and when you add 5rmb, you get a good dessert to finish off lunch. I couldn't finish the pizza though, it was thoroughly filling. The pizza base was a little dry, didn't have the texture that was moist and crispy at the same time, which was the only waste. Everything else was great. Really liked the place, but sadly was really quiet when I went for lunch. At one point, I was the only person dining there. Great prices, not-too-bad food, friendly waitstaff and good ambience. Quite the place to lunch.

I thought the surroundings were open and clean, with nice touches of italian pasta and nibbles you can buy. I'm not sure if they have a lunch special, but I didn't see one. I thought a lasagna and a hot tea was a little high at 98 RMB, but the food was good although on the small side, and the tea was, well, tea. Overall, I will try it again as I'm looking forward to the pizzas.

I tried this place since I had a 10% discount card and I've to say that now I use to go there at least once a week. With a nice, modern and easy decoration, Bricco has one of the best pizza in Shanghai and cheap side-dishes. Although drinks are a little bit pricey and service not as good as food, I can strongly recommend it if you want to go out with friends or partner. Bill won't be over 100 RMB per person.
Have a pizza there, it's much better than Da Marco's one.
