my boyfriend and i did a 'stay-cation' this oct holiday and decided to embellish at all the top notch restaurants. did the laris thing (and am still wondering who the hell voted this place best fine dining) and many others, but none memorable. anyhow, went to stiller's and absolutely loved it! the rooftop bar was gorgeous and inviting. my boyfriend had the degustation dinner which, for 699rmnb was, for us, a good deal. the portions were surprising large, the dishes kept on coming, and everything was spot on. service was also great, and it's nice seeing stiller and his wife monitoring and making sure everyone is having a great time.

Ever wondered when there will be something new in Shanghai similar to Xintiandi. Now there is. Cool Docks. Very nice surrounding, brand new, spaceaus. And there is inside Stiller's Restaurant. We have had the lucky chance to have a taste of the food. Mmmmmmmhhh yummy. And the design of the restaurant is very fine. I can especially recommend the rooftop. It is an open bar. We have been there after the taifun cleared the sky over Shanghai. The view is stunning!! Try to catch the table right next to the entry of the rooftop

Stiller's is still in soft opening phase but delivered a remarkable performance. Service excellent, food sophisticated with delicious taste - that special difference that is very seldom in Shanghai's upscale restaurants. For personal reason we asked for special way of cooking for one dish and got a competent proposal - and like the other dishes excellent taste. Small amuse-bouche are served several times during dinner. In the end we almost could not finish the (again)surprisingly nice desert. The atmosphere is modern but comfortable with a nice view on Pudong. In one word: they really know how to please their customers.
