This is an anonymous roller-skating rink from the early '90s, located on the Northside in Putuo district. Once sketchy, nowadays (2016), it's a family-friendly (albeit smokey) kinda place during the day and a date spot for young locals and skate-master uncles at night, when the music shifts from '80s and '80s HK disco to intense Russian techno. In the mid-2000s, this was the scene for the infamous Roller Revival parties, which drew hundreds of foreigners and locals to skate through puddles of spilled booze, often breaking bones in the process. Prices include skate rental: Daily, 1–7pm: 15rmb an hour; Mon-Thur, 7pm–1.30am: 25rmb an hour; Friday–Sun, 7pm–1.30am: Dudes pay 30rmb an hour, ladies pay 25rmb. Water is 10rmb a bottle, soft drinks start at 8rmb, and beer is 20rmb. Good times. You're looking at a 20-25 minute cab ride from the city center, or a 15 minute walk from the subway station.
