Lola is a club, lounge, terrace, tapas place -- but mostly that first one. More indebted to the European pedigree of clubbing, Lola forgoes the tables, dice, and top 40 hip hop/mash up character of Chinese clubs for the European concentration on pumping sound systems (by Funktion One), state-of-the-art video installations, and the latest in continental house and techno. Drinks: It's a fairly extensive selection of cocktails and mixes, highlights including a full section devoted to several varieties of Bloody Mary's, "Kraft Werked" cocktails, and lots of top-shelf spirits on offer. Expect a classier, international clubbing crowd.
