So far, I have had the Pesto Chicken Ciabatta sandwich, the Chickpea Avacado salad and the Pumpkin Soup on separate occasions. They're all really good. I also ordered a Smoked Salmon sandwich (forgot what it was called) before, but they don't have it anymore :(
The chicken ciabatta is nice, really flavorful. The salad comes with dressing on the side, and some bread. The pumpkin soup was nice, a bit on the bland side, though. There were even some pumpkin seeds inside the soup. A nice touch.
The website is really clean and simple to use. Delivery takes around 25-30 minutes after you order online. They remember your username, address and other information, so it's really convenient.
The portions for the sandwich, soup and salad were all fairly large. I once ordered a salad and a sandwich and had a hard time finishing. The website/delivery site is open until 9:30pm so you have plenty of time to order throughout the day. They offer lunch sets as well (weekdays only) for those who want to order at the office.
Good service, decent price, great food :)

They really make it EASY to order from them. Their website is painless and you can order what you want in under a minute. First time you order you input all your necessary info and the website can remember it for you next time. You can input more than one address; when I ordered with my mobile (they could benefit from a mobile version, btw), the system realized that I had the same email and put the addresses together next time I ordered via a computer.
You are notified by email or phone of the delivery time. I have consistently gotten a 40 minute window, but consistently received my order in about 25 minutes. The deliveries were made within their free delivery zone.
The food comes packaged in a pretty brown bag and comes in tightly sealed containers that have to yet to spill. If you choose the option for cutlery, be relieved that you get a fork and knife (I've also gotten a spoon once), napkin and that is made of very sturdy plastic. I have not ordered the sandwiches, but their salads come with the dressing separate and you get a small breadroll that is a bit dry but decent enough.
I think it would be helpful for Nosh to include portion sizing (in grams) because not all salads are equal. I suppose if you pay more, you get more. The Apple Blue Cheese salad was filing and one of their best, but I was disappointed with their Tabbouleh as I was hoping for more. The Classic Cobb, on the other hand, really tips the scale. I had a 1pc cookie from Strictly Cookies but it was rather small for that price, but it didn't have that "heaviness" afterwards so I was pleased nonetheless.
The taste of the food is very very good. There some issues with freshness (like the bread) and the chicken can be defrosted better (Classic Cobb), but every time I've had a very satisfying experience. Their fresh juices are frothy fresh. I wish there was an option for a larger size, for one person or two.
For a 3 month old establishment, Nosh has done, so far, an excellent job. They are continually improving their service and offering new products or deals; which is something I really appreciate. After your order you may receive an email from them with a survey if you have any ideas on what they can do better. Recently they added soups and now they have a beer promotion with Cheers In. Please stick around Nosh!

A seriously delicious take out place. Since ordering only yesterday, I've already ordered 3 times and couldn't get over how tasty the lasagna and meatball pasta was. The brie bacon panini, on the small side, was so bloody tasty I had to order another one. All in all, I haven't had such a good eating experience in a long time. Reasonably priced too!

Perhaps it was the name or maybe it was all the "buzz" surrounding Nosh (and its 20% soft opening special) that made me want to like it... and I REALLY wanted to like it... But I didn't. In fact, with a user-friendly website (although they really should display prices without you having to either click "more" or add an item to your cart), prompt delivery services, and reasonable prices, I thought I had found my new "go-to" delivery restaurant.
But no... I ordered the hummus and even if I could get past the BRIGHT yellow color, I couldn't get over the overwhelming taste of garlic. (Now, if they called it garlic hummus on the menu, that might be another story.) Even the pita bread that accompanied the hummus was not real pita. I will say the was accompanying crudite was nicely displayed, but I'm a pita-with-my-hummus person, so this didn't do it for me.
I also got the Peking Duck wrap, which was fell somewhere between OK and mediocre. My husband had the quiche, which was the smallest serving of quiche I'd seen in quite some time, and again, "OK" at best. You'd need to order 3 or 4 servings to make it anywhere near a meal.
Perhaps they'll work out their kinks -- change a few recipes, go back to basics and try and get things right -- I'll give them another shot in a few months, and if things are not improved, well, then it's Nosh-ing I want to eat again.

Ordered the hummus and the oxtail & black truffle lasagne - ordering was easily done online and even though I live slightly outside of the specified area, there was no issue. Food arrived promptly (within the 40 mins quoted) and the lasagne was hot on arrival. Hummus was good, with plenty of FRESH cruidtes and nice enough bread. Lasagne was delicious and a good portion.
Can't fault the place - was really impressed and looking forward to trying something else soon. The fact they had 20% off for soft opening didn't do any harm either!

Working in an office that seems to be in the Shanghainese gastronomic equivalent of the Sahara desert, with McDonalds, Yoshinoya and/or pizza hut the only options for several blocks, Nosh delivery could have weekday office lunch deliveries to our building in the bag - like shooting fish in a barrel - IF, and this is a big IF, they can ease off on the vinegar.
Ordered for the first time yesterday. Me being the designated delivery food guinea pig of the office, I am tasked with scoping out the latest and greatest (read: cheapest latest and greatest) in western food delivery. Over the years I've seen them come, and seen them go. Many have come and we have expected great things (Brasa Chicken), while others are not even worth the keystrokes they are written with. Element fresh up until now has been the only real constant in our otherwise crazy (diurnal) Shanghai lives.
Nosh has potential. No doubt about that. From the enterprising young Chinese guy with perfect English who answered the phone, to the little guy they entrusted the food to. Delivery time was stated to be 30 mins when I ordered, and it arrived as predicted.
The food - I am only one guy, and although my burgeoning waistline will have people believe otherwise, I do have limits as to how much food I can put away. That, and the fact I was well aware I was playing Russian roulette, shanghai food delivery style. A new, untested restaurant here should always be approached with extreme caution - avoid any sudden movements. I ordered the pesto chicken ciabatta and the broccoli and shrimp quiche. The ciabatta was the highlight of the experience. The best bread I have had in a long time, huge chunks of chicken, and the just generally good quality ingredients. The quiche is where they let themselves down, but really, it's an easy fix if they want to. In the packaging, under the quiche, there was a black sour tasting liquid. At first I thought it was some oil from where they lifted it out the pan, but the taste of the quiche was tinged with the unmistakable sourness of vinegar. Now, I have been here long enough to know that IF I ever do partake in a pizza hut pizza, I let the girl know that they should by all means feel free to not criss-cross my pizza with mayonnaise. I am not sure what it is here with the locals and sauce, but I would much prefer they give ME, the customer, the option. Nosh, your quiche would be a billion times better if it was vinegar free. And really, even WITH the vinegar, the quiche was good. I gave them a 4/5 for food, based on the fact that the ciabatta was bordering on sublimely good (for what it is/was - lets not lose the fact that this came in a box, delivered by some guy on a bike), and outweighed whatever negativity the vinegar brought.
Verdict - shall definitely be trying this place again. I think they should consider doing what element fresh do and offer condiments on the side. Give them a go.
