I've been there once. Everything was perfect: The venue, the food, the service (impeccable), the price ... even the toilet. Just go there!

Fantastic set up. Great ambience and just love the sofa beds (cant remember Japanese word). Service was not bad and food was pretty good. Would go again if just to lie down and eat :)

I'm sad to say that after being a loyal customer of Thai Gallery since its opening, I am now writing it an extremely negative review. Last week, I attempted to plan a dinner party for Wednesday night at Thai Gallery for a group of colleagues visiting from Europe. Having organized dinners for smaller groups in the past, I expected things would go smoothly. I was wrong. First, the manager and the staff were rude and could care less that I was an old trusted customer, treating me cautiously as if I were trying cheat the restaurant somehow. On Tuesday night, after spending 45 minutes carefully choosing the menu and arranging where to sit, they calculated the bill and planned to make NO DISCOUNT from the menu price even though it was a group of 50 people on a Wednesday night! In addition, the incapable manager continually \"forgot\" to mention additional costs that she claimed the owner reminded her to bring up. I left feeling a bit disappointed, but was still willing to go ahead with the dinner plan for the following night since time was short. Then, at 10:15pm the manager called me at home demanding that I produce 4000rmb immediately (literally wanted me to drive back over) as a deposit or else we could not have the dinner. It\'s not like I ordered anything special off the menu but they claimed they needed to buy extra food for the group and weren\'t willing to incur the risk themselves. Obviously I said No, seeing as I was already getting ready for bed at home. The manager briskly said that there was nothing she would do and hung up the phone. Dinner cancelled. Imagine...Thai Gallery turned down a party of 50 on a slow Wednesday night instead of taking their own initiative to buy a little more phad thai noodles! The moral of the story is that Thai Gallery clearly thinks WAY too highly of itself and not enough about its customers. I STRONGLY recommend that no one plan any dinner parties there as the are completely unaccommodating. There are plenty of other great Thai restaurants in the city (Coconut Paradise, Simply Thai and Lan Na Thai) that would be happy to accommodate you. STAY AWAY FROM THAI GALLERY!

The decor and ambience of this place are great, definitely a great place to chill and eat---the food isn't bad either.
