This Taiwanese owners of this Shanghainese restaurant solemnly swear not to use MSG or low quality swill oil in their cooking, which has garnered lots of from resident foodies. Standout performers on the menu include their fried duck leg, the hongshao rou, and their yellow croaker with spring onions. It's packed to the rafters most nights during peak hours, so reservations are essential.

Well it comes as no surprise that you have done it again #328. As the last 3 times I have come to dine at your establishment the 'kind' garçon, has asked if it we would mind sharing a table. I fully understand the cultural tradition that has been accepted of sharing a table with the local flora and fauna of Shanghai in any of the many convenient noodle joints. Some of the best stories come of that. But is it really necessary for me and four of my friends to pay for the pleasure of sharing a table when you have zero occupancy downstairs at 4pm on a Sunday and available non-shared seating upstairs? I mean from my past experiences in #328 I have enjoyed rubbing elbows with such local luminaries as the left-over sister and her just arrived-to-town middle aged laowai. I have grown tired of such experiences though, and subjecting my guests that I have brought to your fine venue to dine at a table with a family and their 4 year old is something I would liken to a scene from tombstone- Christ almighty it's like I'm setting here playing cards with my brother's kids or something, nerve racking sons of bitches. I will leave you to it #328, good luck, but for me never again.
