Pudong's rendition of a contemporary art museum, the Zendai MoMA stands like a beacon of light in an otherwise gray and humdrum strip of shops. Small in stature, the Zendai attracts some top international artists (mostly Asian) and exhibits are chock full. Highly interactive art is aimed at exciting the Chinese youth. You'd be hard-pressed to find more video installation in all of Shanghai combined. The Zendai is still figuring out how to label art however, so don't go there expecting to know what you are looking at.
