In accordance with the local gov’s efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19, entry to both ART021 and West Bund ART & Design is permitted only if you can produce a negative nucleic acid test taken within the last 48 hours upon arrival.  News comes from the respective official WeChat accounts of the two respective event organizers.

This is in addition to valid ID, health codes, registry, normal temperature, and tickets.

Well, that’s an extra hassle for sure. But should make for a thinner crowd to enjoy the exhibition(s) with if you’ve got your negative test sorted out.

As of this writing, a negative nucleic acid test is not required for entry into Design Miami.

West Bund Art & Design Fair has an larger scale this year, and will be hosted at both West Bund Art Center and West Bund Dome from November 11-14. The exhibition will welcome more than 120 galleries from 45 cities in 18 countries such as "A Lighthouse called Kanata" from Tokyo, "A2Z Art Gallery" from Paris, etc. Reservation is needed on West Bund's offcial WeChat account before going.

The 9th ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair will be hosted at Shanghai Exhibition Centre from November 11th to 14th in 2021. 134 galleries from 14 countries are involved, bringing about a variety of artworks including paintings, sculptures, photographies, etc. The fair is open to public on November 13th and 14th.
