What Is It

Sony and Columbia Pictures are celebrating a century of movies with a walk-through playground at Super Brand Mall. Think less hushed gallery, more film studio theme park: you can take a photo with a real Oscar, wander through Peter Rabbit's countryside, poke around the Men in Black weapon vault, or step into the Ghostbusters firehouse. There's even a full alien scrapyard from District 9, which is weirdly the most atmospheric corner of the whole thing. A talking robot version of Chappie answers questions, kids can tinker with stop-motion animation, and there's the inevitable glowing ball pit. For sit-down types, there's a mini-theater running a rotation of Sony films like Hotel Transylvania and Peter Rabbit, plus a PS5 demo zone.

Who Is It For

Families, movie buffs, and anyone who likes a photo op. Parents will find plenty to keep the small ones occupied, while film fans will enjoy the props and recreated sets. Couples get an easy date idea that comes with built-in conversation starters ("Would you rather work for the MIB or Ghostbusters?").

How to Buy Tickets

The exhibition runs daily until March 3, 2026, at Super Brand Mall in Lujiazui. Tickets cost 88–188rmb, with free entry for kids under 1.2m. Expect to spend about 40 minutes to an hour inside. Entry is through the west wing on the first floor, right by Lujiazui Metro Station (Line 2). Click here to buy tickets. Weekends can get busy, so weekday visits are easier if you want space to take photos.
