Based in Shanghai since 2016, mostly eating, exploring, and pretending to be busy. Big on animals, good restaurants, cool events, and organizing life with spreadsheets just to feel in control.

Two sold-out shows in January, and now Wolf Alice are coming back to Shanghai in December. Apparently, two nights weren't enough. We're not complaining.

If you haven't caught up with Wolf Alice yet, here's your chance to understand why they're one of Britain's most acclaimed alternative rock bands. They've won the Mercury Prize, picked up a BRIT Award for Group of the Year, and landed a UK No. 1 album. Not bad for a band that can go from dreamy, almost painfully beautiful melodies to guitars that sound like they're about to demolish the room.

Fans of The Smashing Pumpkins, Slowdive, The Cranberries and Garbage should feel right at home. Tracks like "Bros" and "Don't Delete the Kisses" are made for singing along with a room full of people, while "Yuk Foo" is basically an excuse to lose your mind for three minutes.

This time, Wolf Alice are bringing a fresh stage presentation and songs from their 2025 album The Clearing. So even if you caught them in January, this isn't just a rerun. Expect the intimate moments, the big guitar explosions, and the kind of live show that reminds you why listening through headphones just isn't the same.
