Christmas Services
On Thursday, December 24, there will be masses in Chinese at 3pm and 6.30pm. Then on Friday, December 25 it will hold Christmas Day services at 8am and 10am, also in Chinese. St. Peter's Church is Catholic.

They only do Chinese Mass here, every Sunday at 7.30am and 9.30am. On Thursday, December 24 they will have a 7.30pm Christmas Eve service in Chinese. On Friday, December 25 there will be an 8am service in Chinese. Sheshan Marian Basilica is Catholic.
This place easily takes "Shanghai's Most Majestic Hilltop Basilica of the Year" prize.
Sacred Heart Church
On Thursday, December 24 there's a 7:30pm Christmas Eve service in Chinese and 9:30pm Christmas Eve service in English, and Christmas service, Monday, December 25 at 9am (Chinese) and 11am (English). Sacred Heart is Catholic.

On Sunday, December 24, there are Chinese services at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, and English services at 9pm — reservations need to be made by a member of the Church, those without will be denied entry. On Monday, December 25 the Chinese Christmas Day service is running at 7.30am, 10am, and 7pm, and English services at 12pm. St. Ignatius Cathedral is Catholic.

St. Francis Xavier's Church

St. Francis Xavier Church/Dongjiadu Lu Catholic Church is still, STILL closed, surrounded by heavy building work and construction sites, as it has been for years. It's supposed to reopen in 2021. So there won't be any Christmas services there this year unless you sneak in and stage your own Mass. We definitely don't encourage this.
