Giant Sneaker Convention Is Back and Bigger Than Ever This Weekend

Dec 14, 2020 | 12:00 Mon
Hey sneaker heads. Clear out your weekend. Sneaker Con 2020 is on from December 19 to 20 at the Shanghai Expo Center. Sneaker trading is the highlight, with over 200 vendors covering two entire exhibition halls — the biggest yet in Sneaker Con's 11 years of history. Following Sneaker Con's annual tradition, the Trading Pit has been set up for independent traders to sell their own collectibles.

There'll also be some public events, which there always are at conventions. Sean Wotherspoon, shoe designer and founder of Round Two will be present, as will Chinese tennis star Li Na and other celebrities, giving talks about… stuff. Sustainable aglet design and ideal shoe tongue thickness? The event this year is sponsored by Tmall — a good sign of its growing popularity.

Single-day entry pass is 280rmb, or 480rmb for both days. Tickets are on sale over on Damai. Link on the event page!
