Detail announcement below】 The German Christkindlmarkt is back this season at its previous location, the Rockbund just off the Bund. Over 40 beautifully decorated wooden huts and an enormous Christmas tree are bringing you the traditional German Christmas spirit straight to Shanghai. Warm yourself with a cup of homemade mulled wine, enjoy various dishes from Germany and other countries, shop at the craft market, and meet Santa to make your festive wishes.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the event will not be extended until January 1st. People who bought tickets for the extended week will be refunded within 1-5 working days. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this!

The famous German Christmas Market returns to the Bund this year, bringing you the festive spirit of a traditional German-style market on the charming YuanmingYuan road and square, next to the Rockbund and the Peninsula Hotel. This wonderful scenic spot tucked in between the historic Union church and the Shanghai skyline is the perfect spot for our romantic Christmas market! 

Over 40 wooden stalls await you at the cozy and romantic German Christmas Market, where you can find a variety of gifts & treats. A big Christmas tree, adorned with lights and ornaments, stands in the center of the market, creating a festive atmosphere. You can also visit the Santa hut to take a picture with Santa Claus to share your Christmas joy with your loved ones!

Air filled with the scent of baked apples, roasted almonds, gingerbread, mulled wine, hot chocolate and many other tasty regional specialties from Germany and other countries. Come and indulge yourself in the delicious food and drinks that will make you feel warm and happy!

Besides authentic German sausages by Zeitgeist you will be able to feast on many delicious German dishes, Chilean style Churrascos by La Picá Chilena, juicy BBQ Sticks, tasty Tacos by Tacolicious, Raclette Cheese, French fries by Royal Patat and much much more! There is something for everyone’s taste and appetite!

Finally, don't miss out on the fantastic array of craft vendors where you can discover unique Christmas presents! Explore a diverse selection of  beautiful hand-made candles, captivating scents, luxurious cashmere scarves, eco-friendly products, Christmas ornaments and decorations, exquisite jewelry, elegant carpets, and much more.
