The Mediterranean Festival at Waitanyuan is an open-air event that combines food, drinks, music, and social experiences in a central Shanghai setting. Set among the area’s European-style architecture, the festival draws inspiration from the atmosphere of Mediterranean coastal regions.

Visitors can move freely through more than 60 food and beverage stalls, offering a range of dishes, cocktails, and handcrafted drinks. In addition to food, there are also artisanal items on display, creating a browsing-style environment where each stop offers something different.

As the day transitions into evening, the focus shifts toward music and live performances. More than 20 DJs and artists perform across the festival period, moving from relaxed daytime selections to more energetic sets later in the evening.

The event is designed as a social space, encouraging interaction and shared experiences. It emphasizes a casual, open setting where visitors can spend time moving between food, music, and conversation.

Tickets grant access to the festival. Food and drinks are available for purchase at individual stalls.
