Hikers will have the opportunity to learn about the intricate process of tea cultivation, from planting and harvesting to processing and brewing, all while enjoying the serene beauty of the landscape.

  • 07:30 | Meet at Starbucks at 1788 Plaza (1818 West Nanjing Road, Jing'an Temple area) for bus pick-up and departure from Shanghai
  • 10:30 | Arrive at Longjing Village, Hangzhou. Start hiking at Jiuxi Shibajian (Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullies)
  • 12:00 | Enjoy a picnic lunch and take a short rest (lunch is not provided, participants will need to bring their own food)
  • 12:30 | Follow the professional tour leader to admire the stunning tea garden views. Continue hiking towards Shililangdang (十里琅珰), passing through mountains, forests, waterfalls, streams, and temples, with a chance to see West Lake from the mountain top
  • 14:00 | Visit Paohu Spring (跑虎泉)
  • 16:30 | Board the bus and drive back to Shanghai
  • 20:00 | Arrive in Shanghai

Cancellation Policy

If members cancel the trip for personal reasons:

  • Cancellation 3 days (72 hours) or more before the trip:
    A full refund will be issued.
  • Cancellation within 3 days (less than 72 hours) before the trip:
    A 100 RMB transportation fee will be deducted, and the rest of the payment will be refunded.

If the trip cannot be continued due to force majeure (such as flood, earthquake, weather, or transportation issues):

Part of the trip payment may be refunded under the following conditions:

  • Local bus transport fees included in your travel fee (as fully prepaid to the local bus agency) will not be refunded.
  • Tour guide fees included in your travel fee will not be refunded.
  • Full hotel/attraction fees already spent will not be refunded.
  • New local hotel fees or other fees incurred at the destination will not be refunded.
  • Flight/train changing/cancellation fees will not be refunded.
  • Other personal losses incurred will not be refunded.
