Description

Groove Coverage, the iconic German Eurodance duo behind early-2000s hits like "God Is a Girl" and "Far Away From Home," brings their high-energy 2025 tour to China with a 90-minute nostalgia blast—alternating live performances and DJ sets. Expect upgraded visuals, sing-along anthems, and a deep dive into their cult-favorite catalog, reigniting the Y2K spirit for millennials who grew up on their beats. It’s a rare chance to relive the soundtrack of a generation, straight from the golden age of dance floors and MP3 downloads.

A Millennial Nostalgia Trip

This 90-minute show will alternate between live performances (featuring DJ Novus and vocalist Mell) and DJ sets (solo by DJ Novus), structured as follows:

35-minute Live Set → 20-minute DJ Set → 35-minute Live Set

(Note: Groove Coverage is a German electronic music duo formed by core member DJ Novus and singer Mell.)

"God Is A Girl," "Far Away From Home," "She," "Moonlight Shadow," "On the Radio," "7 Years & 50 Days"… These iconic early-2000s anthems—soundtrack to a generation’s youth—are coming back to life as Groove Coverage, the pioneers of millennial Eurodance, return to China for their 2025 tour!

Following their sold-out 6-city tour in 2024, which reignited the Y2K nostalgia wave, the duo is doubling down with 12 stops this year.

Beyond their greatest hits, they’ll dig deeper into their catalog, backed by upgraded VJ visuals. 2025 is the year to reunite with your teenage self—through the beats that defined it.

About Groove Coverage

Formed in 2001, this German trance/eurodance duo—DJ Novus and Mell—quickly became a global phenomenon. Their name reflects their mission: covering the world in groove.

With billions of streams worldwide, their breakout debut "Covergirl" (2002) spawned "God Is A Girl", which topped charts in Germany and became one of China’s most-downloaded foreign tracks (over 10 million downloads). "She" and "Far Away From Home" each hit 6 million+ downloads in China, with the latter even landing on "Top 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" lists.

Later albums like "7 Years and 50 Days" and "21st Century" cemented their status as Germany’s dance-floor innovators—especially across Asia, where they’ve maintained a cult following.

Setlist Highlights

  1. "God Is A Girl" – The Y2K feminist anthem that blew up globally.
  2. "Far Away From Home" – A wistful, melodic travelogue in dance form.
  3. "She" – Softer, lyrical, and weirdly timeless.
  4. "Moonlight Shadow" – Their breakthrough hit, a trance-pop masterpiece.
