Calypso Restaurant & Lounge at Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai has introduced an autumn a la carte menu designed by Executive Sous Chef Tonino Giglio, featuring a mix of Italian, Spanish, and Southern French flavors prepared with seasonal ingredients such as pumpkin, mushroom, sweet potato, and chestnut. The menu offers nearly 20 dishes, including highlights like Autunno Salad, Carré Di Agnello, Sogliola alla Mugnaia, Risotto Capesante Scampi Caviale, and Torta Alle Prugne, alongside signature items such as Gamberoni All’ Aglio, Tartare Di Tonno, and Filetto Di Manzo. The pasta and pizza selections feature updated recipes, from the Southern Italian "Cotto Pinsa" to the classic Roman “Uovo CBT Tartufo Nero”. Five autumn-inspired cocktails, including Pear Fizz, Osmanthus Oolong, and Golden Malt, complement the menu. The restaurant’s glass-filled space provides a setting to enjoy seasonal flavors in a relaxed, alfresco-style atmosphere.
