Kodály Quartet:

Founded in 1966 by four students of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, the Kodály Quartet officially took its name in 1971 to honor the Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály. The ensemble has recorded approximately 70 CDs, including complete cycles by Haydn, Beethoven, and Schubert, and has received numerous awards, including the BBC nomination for Best Chamber Music Recording and the Hungarian Kossuth Prize.
The Quartet is committed to authentic interpretations of Kodály and other Hungarian composers, while also performing standard classical repertoire. They regularly perform worldwide, including in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and have collaborated with many prominent musicians.
