Welcome, friends. Construction on Shanghai Disney Resort started in 2011, and they're finally in soft opening (no, you can't go without an invite). When it opens for real in June, Mickey's kingdom will hold 50,000 people.

The park is divided into Mickey Avenue, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove, Fantasyland, Gardens of Imagination, Disneytown, and Tomorrowland. Here we are on Mickey Avenue, and it's all love.

So, there is no Space Mountain at this Disneyland, but they've got a Tron ride that's way faster.

It's really fast. Someone threw up immediately after disembarking on Friday.

Disney owns almost all your childhood memories at this point, including Star Wars.

Unfortunately, there is no Big Grizzly Mountain or Haunted Mansion, but they've got a Pirates of the Caribbean lagoon cruise.
