Pac-Man has arrived in Shanghai like never before. Now an official pop-up café near Xintiandi (it ate Kuma café), it is bigger and better than ever! Enter through dazzling neon and head straight to the second floor, where you get to play on the world’s largest Pac-Man arcade machine: gigantic screen, two players, classic! How much does it cost? Nothing. It’s freeeeee! Of course, you should probably order something. Drinks are about 30rmb. I had a strawberry “blinky”; don’t set your expectations too high! If that’s not enough, there’s a Taiko Drum Master — Taiko no Tatsujin — in the corner, and the seat is always warm. The only bad thing is this is just a summertime pop-up: Pac-Man exits right in September. Click here for details.
