Oh my god. Oh. My. God. This line. This line. This is the be-all-and-end all of lines. It's huge, mighty, and unforgiving. It's merciless. This line snakes around the giant Shanghai Museum building in People's Square in sections like a decimated, still writhing serpent. It travels outside than in and outside again. This line has temperature changes, first plopping you in the blaring hot sun, and then through umbrella'd off areas, and then into the air-conned Shanghai Museum itself. This line has time zone changes. This line has moods. This line... good lord, this line. This is the line to the "A History of the World in 100 Objects" exhibition now open at Shanghai Museum. You don't want any part of this beast. SmSh wrestled with this thing for the last two hours and lost. Read on for the war story.
