Dogs, humans, and possibly other animals are coming together this Saturday from 2pm to 8pm for a party and adoption day event at The Rooster in Jing'an, put on by nonprofit animal aid group Best Friends China. The org does a bunch of work supporting local animal rescuers and running a fostering program, in addition to their adoption events. That fostering program means if you know you can't take a pet with you to where you're going next, you can still provide a home for an abandoned dog or cat while you're in the city.
